Media Expert Team Forms Transplant Prime To Leverage Mainstream Media And Draw Attention To Those In Need Of Organ Transplants

With over 17 people dying every day waiting for an organ transplant and the list reaching over 100,000 and growing, a group of media experts is leveraging their knowledge of the industry to raise awareness of those waiting for an organ transplant. Transplant Prime is an Organ Transplant Editorial Service.

Transplant Prime aspires to become the Associated Press (AP) to newsrooms except instead of breaking news, they share stories about everyday people who are in need of a living kidney donor, received a transplant, organ donation awareness, and financial assistance for donation or recovery.

“The power of the media is clear. Local, Regional, and National outlets reach millions of people every day. However, with often divisive stories and headlines, we know that readers, journalists, and editorial staff are eager to cover meaningful heartwarming stories. And we are eager to share them,” said Carrington Fields Co-CEO of The United Network America, the parent company of Transplant Prime.

Transplant Prime has been able to share hundreds of stories leading to transplants but knows that there is a lot of work still to complete. Recently launching an Instagram and working more closely with seasoned journalists, the team hopes to partner with more Transplant Centers across the country to inform every patient who wants to share their story of the service to reach millions of people some of who will be willing and available to help.

Transplant Prime team spans veteran editors, journalists, surgeons, and even patients.

“The beautiful thing about living donation is that it just takes one person to make a life-changing difference. Everyone has that ‘one person’ out there, they just have to meet each other,” noted Carrington Fields, Co-CEO. “Transplant Prime helps make that possible.”

About Transplant Prime:

Placing stories in national news outlets is our specialty. Our team is built of editors, journalists, and researchers who have all come up through the ranks of the high-pressure media environment.

Recognizing the huge gap in awareness of those on the Organ Donor List and others who are willing to help but unaware, we are choosing to dedicate our lives to using the power of the press to building meaningful connections.
