About the Author

Katalena Honeycutt is a New Yorker, U.S. Navy veteran, Wife, and Mom.  Katalena was inspired by her three daughters to create The Seasoned Series.  With her husband being active duty, moving from city to city made her feel disconnected from her roots and family. Wanting to make sure her daughters were familiar with their Puerto Rican culture, Katalena created something that feels like the Puerto Rican home she grew up inand is still fun and educational.  This sparkedher idea forThe Seasoned Series and has since grown into something much bigger than initially imagined!
